Small Home WIND GENERATOR

This is my home wind generator, it works with a 24v cc generator(small motor used as generator). It produces a pulsed current, but with an small capacitor and a regulated source you can charge a 9v battery!

  1. just throwing this out there (am a comeplete novice) . Looks like wires can get twisted from the rotation of the turbine catching the wind. maybe try a spring ( for windows , about 12inches , 5/8 thick ) might work .might not. Has anyone tried this?

  2. WHERE would i buy a generator for a turbine i live in ny and would it be a permanant magnet generator

  3. A car alternator is not useful because the wind speed is never enough to move its axis (transmition is not useful), you need a permanent magnet generator. Good luck!

  4. if i put alternador to car, can charge?? but how many rpm need? or win speed? if i putt 2 alternador is more fast charge? i need for my RV, or i need put little transmission?

  6. Hola si puede servir simplemendte vas a poder prender unos cuantos LED´s y nada mas jeje.

  7. It depends on the wind average on your house, but a minium of 1m blade and 3 blades (2m diameter), with a 10-35km/h wind can generate 700-1500w wich is suitable for a medium home. God Luck!

  8. HOw big would this have to be in order to plug into the household with an inverter?

  9. Coooool

  10. Lol, thx in the future we´re gonna have one of it in each house!!;)

Hola, muy bonito tu mini-generador. ¿Puede servir el motor de una impresora para lo mismo?. Gracias.

  12. Wish Ebay had this, would sell a million of them.Looks cool too.

  13. There is not so much materials, just a 24 volt CC motor, one plastic helice from a fan cooler, any plastic for the tail and nothing else, it is ready to generate a few amount of pulsed CC (betwen 9 and 12 vold depending of the wind speed )!!I hope you can build it and tellme if it worked!!good luck!

  14. Excellent!!! Would you please share the materials list and any tips so that I can build one with my Boy Scouts?

  15. Not bad at all. Muy bueno. Es perfecto…

  16. Gracias, en realidad no tiene nadad de potencia, solo unos pocs mW, ya que es un motor cc de 24 volts que al girar mas despacio de lo que lo haria como motor, entrega unos 13-19v…Saludos
