How do you connect 4 small solar panel cells?

I have to do a project for my physics class, and we have to connect 4 solar panel cells and then find the best angle/direction that it absorbs the most light.

Does anyone know how to connect the cells in series and in parallel??

  1. I have no idea what you just said.

  2. First make sure they all work properly. If they are nearly identical, it’s your choice, so you could choose higher current or higher voltage. What would better match your load or your instrumentation? If the cells are mounted on a common substrate, the engineers may have already made the choice for you.
