  1. You don’t need to go looking for worms they will find you. Get a piece of chicken wire make a circle with it star putting leaves, grass clippings your garbage from table foods, make layers while doing this buy some fertiliser and add between layers wt it down, you will be amazed.

  2. No, you don’t have to have worms to make compost – it’s just one way to make the process quicker. Do a Google search on composting for all the info. – and more – you ever wanted to know about composting – and worms, who have different answers to your question depending upon what type they are (red wigglers, nightcrawlers, etc.).

Out of curiosity – why did you destroy the worms’ home not once but twice? You can gently and carefully take the worms out of the compost before adding it to the garden…worms are also good for your garden though…and you can buy more worms at a bait shop… (:

  3. Compost, working compost gets hot, very hot and worms will bake, so… bacteria and finghi degrade biological material.
Earthworms are one of the weird ones reproductionwise. 2 Males meet, one gives sperm to the other all glued together, that one goes to his nest, changes sex, lays eggs and uses the others sperm… I really love this.
Near a compost is a good place for wormhunting, or poring detergentwater on earth.
Trus me theres lots left, they dont think about stuff like homedestroyal, the brain is too tiny.

  4. You can hasten the compost process by sprinkling a handful of lime in the mix, along with some wood ash. You don’t really need worms at all.

  5. Be sure to put brown matter as well as green matter into your compost. Brown matter includes dry leaves and carboard.
Make sure the compost does not get too wet.

If you dig in your garden you will find earthworms.
